Matt DeLorenzo: The Biography

Matt DeLorenzo started his D.I.R.T. Modified Racing career just eight(8) years ago at Fonda Speedway in a Sportsman Dirt Modified race car. Matt has one(1) win in the Sportsman Division. He has been rewarded with Rookie of the year in the Sportsman & Modified Divisions.

Matt DeLorenzo won the overall 2007 Fonda Championship (8 season victories); the first Championship by a 358-modified. Throughout the 2006 racing season, Matt can be found racing weekly at the Albany-Saratoga Speedway every Friday night, at Fonda Speedway on Saturday night and at Devil’s Bowl on Sundays, in the Modified Division. After the 2002 season was completed, the BBL Construction Services #03 finished third (3^rd) in the championship points race behind Brett Hearn (#20) and Kenny Tremont (#115).

During the 2004 season, Matt became the Fonda Modified-358 Track Points Champion by taking the #03 to the top of the points race throughout most of the racing season.

The primary sponsor of Team DeLorenzo Racing is the organization of BBL Construction Services, currently based in Albany, New York.
